Kid’s Club/TLC (Teens Living for Christ)
Children ages 6 to 12 - Teens ages 13 & up
Wednesday 6 pm – 7:30 pm
During this time of special fellowship, kids and teens are presented a life lesson using a specific bible passage(s). To make learning more enjoyable we try to incorporate a game that is thematic to the message and helps kids/teens remember the life lesson. Kids/teens are also taught to pray and encouraged to do so for themselves and others. In addition, there is a time of table fellowship where kids/teens are given a snack and a drink.
Music Ministry
“O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise unto the rock of our salvation!” Psalm 95:1
The goal of the music and worship ministry at Northside Baptist Church is to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel through word and song and to provide worship to our services.
We welcome those who want to get involved through our worship choir which meets each Wednesday at 5:00 pm in the music suite. We also have handbells for those who are interested.
If God speaks to you, come try our music department. No previous experience is required.
We are actively seeking someone to fill the position of Minister of Music who will lead our music ministry as God directs.
Merry @ Heart
Our senior adult ministry is a vibrant and active place for you to participate and fellowship with each other. Our senior adults meet monthly for fellowships and are always a special time for great food and good friends. We would love for you to join us. God’s New Beginners
For those ladies who are starting a new beginning in their lives – widows, divorcees, and single women – we welcome you. It’s a time to get together with others who are going through the same things. Sometimes we go out to eat, but most of the time we meet in the fellowship hall and eat, play games (win prizes), have devotions and prayer. We even give advice and HUGS! Come visit one of our meetings and check us out; you might want to join. Call the church office for more information.
Sonshine Ministry
For members of our church who are unable to attend and join in our fellowship, there is a ministry that reaches out to them. The Sonshine ministry visits monthly those who are either homebound or in a facility. Members who visit have all remarked that the blessing received upon visiting is as rewarding as the one who is visited.
Ladies Bible Studies
Northside Baptist Church values fellowship for Christian women, and women who would like to learn more about the Bible, God and Jesus. All are welcome to join us in our fall Bible studies. Check our calendar for dates.
